The Toadies were one of the hotter prospects in the major label filth wars of the early/mid-90's, simply their lengthy waits betwixt albums and internal dissention finally skint apart the lot after the button of their 2001 record album. Former member Todd Lewis was the one to pull the induction, and felt quite down and dejected about his situation. Maintaining a lowly visibility piece he tried to place his old ring to pillow, former Izzy Stradlin drummer Taz Bentley came to Lewis about starting a fancy. Both musicians began intellection most how to advance things, and they agreed to avoid major labels and put together a grass roots twain. Hence, the Burden Brothers agreed to a deal with Last Beat Records where they record songs whenever they feel about it, and Last Beat offers the songs on the Burden Brothers' internet site. Their first acquittance, a self-titled EP assembling the first 4 songs in the series, appeared at the origin of 2002. Buried in Your Black Heart followed a year subsequently.
